History of Reflexology
There is documented evidence found in countries such as Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America indicating that many civilizations and ancient cultures used some form of foot therapy.
It is believed that the earliest form of reflexology originated in China, as much as 5000 years ago. With such an opulent history it is no surprise that reflexology has continued to evolve.
With each culture developing their own quite different styles that are equally effective, new approaches and techniques are rapidly evolving as therapists around the world share their experiences and clinical findings.
In recent years several studies have been conducted to test and validate reflexology providing astounding results.
As interest in reflexology continues to grow around the world, some countries are embracing the benefits of this wonderful therapy and consequently we are now seeing it being used in hospitals and clinics as an adjunct to modern medicine.
